Mrs. Kringle has had enough. Kris got so hammered last year that by sunrise he was only in Cleveland. It's been a dry North Pole ever since (glacier runoff notwithstanding), and it appears that on this Christmas Eve Santa is off to a great start. But the wife forgot to account for the customary milk and cookies offering, which may include the occasional libation.     Will Kris contain his hankering for the hard stuff, or do the hopes of children everywhere hang on the efforts of one heroic little helper to keep Santa sober?
